After taking two awards at this year's TVB Anniversary Awards, Charmaine Sheh has beated 'Fat Tin' Myolie Wu to take the award for My Favourite Female TV Actor at yesterday's inaugural Annual Artistes Awards 2006. Raymond Lam won his justice over Kevin Cheng by taking the award for Favourite Male TV Actor.

Congratulations to Charmaine and Raymond. They're so cute together, aren't they?

Charmaine Sheh and Kevin Cheng are the golden couple for TVB this year. They are so perfect together. Pretty girl with handsome boy. I have the feeling that TVB will pair these two again with future series. My dream series for them is ICAC or a copy series. I don't know why but I love watching Charmaine kicking butt like in Angels of Mission. She should play more of those roles. Kevin will play a gangster guy and they fall in love. Wow, what a big imagination I have?

Let's Talk Fashion

TVB actors/actresses have one night to dress up and be glammed once a year. And of course, the more expensive clothes and accessories you wear determines your standing in the company/industry. Let's talk fashion.

1. Charmaine Sheh- Great choice of dress. It made her look so elegant. She's definitely the star of the night. Her jewelry is worth a total of $30 million. *Bling bling* The most expensive set of jewelry of the night. That should be a hint that she's the big winner. Love her in this dress. Her updo looks great. Good job Charmaine!

2. Kevin Cheng- clean sharp suit. He looks like a winner also. I thought he was the greatest looking guy of the night. Then again, he always look great to me. Just for from my opinion, I didn't think he deserve the win, maybe not over Moses Chan. Kevin is a good actor but his performance in "Under the Capony of Love" didn't impress me as much. But congrats to him, he is on the list of promoters that TVB is trying so this award should help him somewhat. Last, he looks so handsome in that suit.

3. Shirley Yeung- This dress has taken her out of the innocent *next door girl* look. She looks older and elegant. Great choice of hair style. I love her. I know that a lot of people are upset about her winning the "supporting actress" award, but I thought she totally deserve it. Her acting has improved so much. Maybe TVB needs to give her a more serious role, rather than a young, simple role she always played.

Wow. What a year for Charmaine Sheh? As you may know, she brought home two awards. I'm so happy and proud of her. Finally, all the hard work have paid off. I want to watch the show so bad. Hopefully, someone would be nice and upload the whole show on the internet.

Upcoming series

Dance of Passions finally is out in Viet. I've seen the first 8 episodes. Wow. This series is so good. May I say I LOVE Charmaine? She is such a hard worker. She ran so much in the first couple of series. Hurray to her great acting!

Beside this great series, I am looking forward to watch another series, "War and Destiny," starring Sunny Chan, Myolie Wu, Ron Ng, and Leila Tong. I found the theme song and the trailer for it on youtube. I must say this should be a good series too. I like both Myolie and Leila. I cannot wait to watch this series. Enjoy the clips. I'm currently watching Bar Benders. This series is so funny.
Adam Cheng did a great job with his role. I really like Leila Tong and Sammul Chan too. I always like Leila Tong as the talented young generation of TVB. I hope she will end up with Sammul Chan. He has improve his acting skill a lot. Is it true that he's leaving TVB? I hope not. Anyway, at the moment I am in love with Leila Tong so I found this MV with her and Raymond from "The Last Breakthrough." It is credited to van063 from youtube.com

Hello guys, it is Thursday already. Wow I have been out of town for almost a week. I'm so excited about tomorrow. It is the weekend and my boyfriend will drive to Memphis to visit me. This is actually a very interesting city. We planned to visit Graceland (Elvis Presley's home) this weekend. Of course we have to go see it; it is Elvis after all. Anyway, I've been so busy with work and got so tired every time I get back to the hotel so I haven't done any update to this blog. I searched the internet tonight and found some cute pictures of several TVB actresses. Enjoy!

Away from home

Well, if you haven't notice, I haven't update this blog for couple of days. I have to go away for 2 weeks for work. I'm official in Memphis, TN. I'm at the hotel right now. The flight was horrible, delay and delay (don't you hate it). Anyway, it sucks being away from home. I'm already homesick and I just got here about an hour ago. Good thing this hotel have free wireless internet or else I wouldn't know what to do with the free time. I brought along a lot of movies of course. I also brought along an old Charmaine's series: Heavenly Sword (can't remeber the whole title) with Lawrence. Maybe that will keep me busy also. I will try to update this blog as much as I can since I have everything that I needed in this laptop. Alrighty, I'm going to watch my first movie: Cheaper by the Dozen 2 now. I will be online later on tonight to update this blog. Later!

I just bought the "All about Women" CD from yesasia.com. I'm in love with Charmaine's song and her performance in the MTV. She looks so pretty with that hair cut. Her voice is amazing. I listen to it everywhere I go now (in the car, at home, ipod at work). Its getting out of control. I 'm in love with the song. Sunny Chan Series: DIF IV, The Flying Fox & Snowy Mountain Ranking: 4 out of 5 Comments: My first impression when Charmaine starts with Sunny is they are so sweet together. I completely felt in love with Charmaine in DIF IV. I like to see her eyes when she watches Sunny from far away. She loves him but can't because her dad killed someone. It broke my heart. I used to love them very much but then Sunny left TVB for awhile. I hope they come out with a new series for them since Sunny is back. Everyone must agree they used to be this perfect match from TVB (beside her and Chilam). I was hoping that TVB will make DIF V and then maybe they can pair up again. That would be GREAT.

Steve Ma
Series: Return of the Cuckoo, Perish in the name of love
Ranking: 3 1/2 out of 5
Comments: I have to admit Steve has improved his acting skill a lot since Return of the Cuckoo. I didn't like them as much in that series maybe because I wanted Charmaine to be with Chilam so bad. But they are ok in Perish in the name of love. TVB always have to give Charmaine such a tragic role. But hey I do enjoy her acting in tragic role. No one can do better than her. I'm Steve is back to TVB though. I don't mind watching this couple again onscreen.

Raymond Lam

Series: Yummy Yummy, Lethal Weapons of Love and Passions
Ranking: 5 out of 5
Comments: Beside Chilam and Charmaine, this couple is my current favorite in TVB. Raymond has improved his acting a lot. He is the best out of all the new generation of actors in TVB. I start liking them in Yummy Yummy but Charmaine didn't end up with him; however, she did in LWLP. They are just too cute together, although Raymond is younger than Charmaine. But you tell the age difference? NO, not for me. Their story is very sad in LWLP . I love how Raymond always care for Charmaine and doesn't let anybody hurt her. I still watching LWLP but it will over this week. I can't wait see the end. I may watch the series all over again. They were so great.

Let's talk about Charmaine and her costars. Who is your favorite? Well below are my opinions and rankings:

Kevin Cheng

Series: Yummy Yummy, Point of No Return
Ranking: 3 out of 5
Comments: Well, for the looks- they both look beautiful together. He's handsome and she's pretty. But for acting chemistry- I didn't get a strong feeling between them. Maybe because when they first act together in Point of No Return, Kevin was a jerk in his character. Bad first impression maybe. They were ok in Yummy Yummy; since I wanted Charmaine to link with Raymond in that series so I didn't get a good vibe either. Oh well, maybe another series of them will change my mind. But for now, he is average.

Moses Chan
Series: Perish in the Name of Love, War and Beauty, and Dance of Passions
Ranking: 4 1/2 out of 5
Comments: Wow. That is my impression of them right now. They haven't really pair up unitl Dance of Passions and wow. I cannot get rid of that feeling. They have so much chemistry together. They are both great actors. Moses is one of favorites right now in TVB. Their love story in Dance of Passions is so tragic. Charmaine performs such a great job in tragic role, maybe because she can shred a tear so easily. I would definely want to see more of this pair in the future. Like a modern series or a period one. I want to see them both portray cop roles. They need a cool character like that. Love them!!!!

Benny Chan

Series: Carry Me Off and Fly, and The Voyage of Emperor Chien Lung
Ranking: 3 1/2 out of 5
Comments: I haven't seen Carry Me Off and Fly yet. But based on TVOECL, they seems ok. I used to like Benny Chan as an actor; however, his acting has been so bad lately. Maybe because of the a fan of China production series. I was hoping that TVB would have a series for them so I can re-evaluate my opinion. They are so many rumours out there with them being together. I think they may have dated before but now they are just friends. But if it is the true then I wish them the best of luck. I'm glad Benny is back to TVB again though.

Bobby Au Yeung
Series: Final Shot, A Witness to A Prosecution II
Ranking: 3 1/2 out of 5
Comments: I like them in A Witnes to A Prosecution II. They have this great chemistry together. I want to see them in more comedy roles together. Bobby Au Yeung is a good actor. I got to say Bobby is great with any TVB actresses maybe because he can play any role good. I wouldn't mind seeing more of them together on-screen.

Roger Kwok
Series: A Herbalist Affair
Ranking: 4 out of 5
Comments: I love them in A Herbalist Affair. Charmaine's role was really sad in it though. Roger and Charmaine have a great chemistry together. They made me cry when the broke up in A Herbalist Affair. That's how real it was. When you put two artists with great acting skills together, you get this perfect match. I can't wait to see her and Roger again in the upcoming musical series with Liza Wong.

Patrick Tam
Series: Angels of Mission
Ranking: 4 out 5
Comments: Too bad they didn't end up together in Angels of Mission. But their chemistry is great. I like Patrick Tam a lot when he was with TVB but he never get to play any big role. He is a great actor but never get the chance to shine. Charmaine is so pretty in Angels of Mission. I love to see her play a detective in more series. I wish TVB would give this couple another chance to act together. I would love to see more of them.

Ekin Cheng
Series: Always Ready
Ranking: 3 1/2 out of 5
Comments: Average. Ekin is a good partner for her but there was something missing. I was disapointed with the storyline of Always Ready. TVB didn't give Charmaine a lot to act on. Her character has no special moments with Ekin. I think it must be easy for Charmaine to act that role because she was an expert for that type of role. Besides I don't like Linda Chung that much so I think she totally ruins that series for me. I want to see Ekin again with Charmaine though.

Bowie Lam
Series: Always Ready, War and Beauty, and Dance of Passions
Ranking: 3 out of 5
Comments: I have to admit I love her with Bowie in War and Beauty. She has such a sad role in that series, too bad they didn't end up together in that series. Bowie is one of the good actor in TVB right now. I didn't really like them together in Always Ready. I guess I prefer them in ancient series more. But I was satisfied because she get to end up with him in Always Ready. I can't wait see Bowie in Dance of Passions because I haven't see him play the evil role since forever.

Gordon Lam
Series: Country Spirit and Crimson Sabre
Ranking: 3 out of 5
Comments: Gordon Lam is good actor but too bad he left TVB. I would like to see them more but if you remember, not long ago when Gordon made a comment about Charmaine when there was a rumour about them. He said that Charmaine was too far from the type of girl that he would date. I think that made me think less of him. It is too ignorant. Anyway, back to the comparable onscreen, I like them in Country Spirit. Charmaine's acting has sparked in that series. She did a great job with her role. Painful and in love. The series was great. I actually have rent the series and watch it not too long ago. Hurray to Charmaine and Gordon. They were both great in that series.

I will talk more about her co-stars at a later post. But now I would like to dedicated this moment to my ALL TIME favorite couple on screen: CHARMAINE SHEH & CHILAM CHEUNG.

Comments: Love them. I can watch Return of the Cuckoo over and over again. They are so adorable in it. They have to be the "PERFECT MATCH" of TVB artists. Great chemistry onscreen. If you say to me that they are together, I would believe you without any doubts. Too bad we can only see onscreen together but not in real life. I can go on and on about this couple so I must stop but you should get the idea that I LOVE THEM. Anyway, I made some banners for this couple. Hope you like it.
